Aima is a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from Centennial College’s Massage Therapy program in Toronto, Ontario. With a passion for continuous learning and a commitment to expanding her range of techniques, Aima strives to deliver personalized care to each of her clients. Her approach is rooted in the belief that massage therapy is a collaborative process between the therapist and the patient, working together to achieve optimal results on the healing journey.
Aima has had the pleasure of treating a diverse range of clientele, including athletes, dancers, seniors, pre/post-natal patients, manual laborers, fellow healthcare professionals, children and cancer patients. She emphasizes patient education, ensuring that each individual leaves their session with a better understanding of how their body is performing and how to support its recovery.
Aima offers a wide range of techniques to address various needs and preferences, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, manual lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, hot stone massage, and reflexology. She is skilled in managing both acute and chronic pain and incorporates craniosacral therapy, rhythmic and joint mobilizations, and specialized pregnancy and baby-centered massage into her practice. Additionally, Aima is certified in intra-oral massage for those experiencing TMJ dysfunction. Her diverse skill set allows her to create personalized treatment plans that support muscle recovery, strength, flexibility, and nervous system regulation.
Aima recommends a focused 60-minute treatment for maintenance massages, targeting either the upper or lower body, as this allows her to apply techniques effectively based on time sensitivity and pain tolerance. For those seeking a full-body treatment to relieve stress and promote relaxation, she suggests a 60-minute hot stone massage or a 75-minute Swedish massage. Every session is patient-driven, and Aima ensures a comfortable experience—whether you prefer a silent treatment or would like to be informed every step of the way.
Outside of work, Aima is an avid reader with a love for webtoons and manga. She enjoys unwinding by the beach, exploring new places through solo travel, and indulging in different cuisines as a self-proclaimed foodie.
Aima is excited to be a part of your health and wellness journey at Inspine Therapy, helping you achieve greater mobility, reduced pain, and an improved quality of life through compassionate and skilled care.
